When is 4od available on sky

Are you saying that I should take the issue up with Channel 4, as it is Channel 4 who have not released the On Demand content to Sky? First thing you need to do is look at Catch up on your Q box and see what content is available on All 4. Like any app for a TV or the Q box the provider and the supplier have to work together to make them available. Whilst the Q box is technically capable it doesn't mean Sky and Channel 4 have done the necessary development. In terms of package, it works with my Signature TV package.

But I don't see why it wouldn't work with Entertainment. So in answer to your question, yes you need to take it up with Channel Four as it's nothing to do with Sky and they have absolutely no control over it. I have a smart tv and an old Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone. The way I watch ALL4 is by using chromecast.

I play it on my phone and then mirror the content onto my tv. I think it would be helpful if Sky could work on this. It's really not likely to happen anytime soon.

It's all about money. On Sky Q, any content that has been made available for download on Catch-up can obviously be fast forwarded to skip the ads, hence only a limited number of shows are made available.

Yes, they could allow the standard streaming versions of their apps to be made available on Sky Q but then there would be a raft of complaints from people saying they can't fast forward the ads unless they pay the additional fee for the 'plus' versions.

Another example would be Freesat. However, I was also told the same by someone at sky about Amazon. Turns out that enough people asked for it so sky made the effort to negotiate the deal. I'm hoping the same might apply here. Go into menu, settings, set up, preferences, along to "on demand default format" and change HD to SD.

It should work. I had same problem and spoke to a lovely Sky rep in Bluewater. Been trying for months to watch OD4 etc without paying!! Forgive me, this is probably simple, I have the basic package and pref. Many thanks x rog. Did you mean:. All forum topics Previous Topic Next Topic. What's this?
